VC Radar ("the Extension") is an open-source Chrome extension that helps job seekers identify company funding information on LinkedIn and Boss直聘. This policy explains what data the Extension handles and how.
The Extension does not collect, transmit, or store any personal data on remote servers. Specifically:
The following data is stored locally in your browser using Chrome's storage API and never leaves your device unless you explicitly send it:
api.anthropic.com.api.notion.com.When you use the Extension's features, your browser may communicate directly with:
api.anthropic.com) — when you trigger AI company research. The company name is sent as part of the prompt. No personal information is included.api.notion.com) — when you save a job record. The data sent is: company name, job title, source platform, and date. These go to your own Notion workspace.Both services are governed by their own privacy policies. We recommend reviewing Anthropic's and Notion's privacy policies separately.
storage — to save your API keys and company list locally.host_permissions: api.notion.com, api.anthropic.com — to make API calls on your behalf directly from the browser.linkedin.com and zhipin.com — to read company names from job listings and inject funding badges. No page content is recorded or transmitted.VC Radar is fully open source. You can audit exactly what the Extension does by reviewing the source code on GitHub.
If this policy changes, we will update the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the Extension after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
