* **Purpose:** This data is captured solely to compile your personal history log and display it cleanly on your local history dashboard page (`history.html`).

### 2. Data Storage and Local Processing

We believe in absolute data ownership.

* **100% Local Storage:** All captured data, video history, blacklist preferences, and extension settings are stored strictly on your local device using the secure `chrome.storage.local` API.
* **No Cloud / Remote Servers:** The Extension **does not** transmit, sync, upload, or share any of your data, browsing habits, or history records to external cloud servers, remote databases, or third-party entities.

### 3. Permissions Justification

To fulfill its single purpose, the Extension requires the following permissions:

* **`storage`**: Used to save your video log items and layout configurations locally on your machine.
* **`tabs`**: Used to safely launch your local history control panel screen in a new browser tab when clicking the toolbar icon.
* **`*://www.youtube.com/*`**: Allows the extension to run content scripts to read open public video parameters exclusively while you are browsing YouTube.

### 4. Third-Party Disclosures and Analytics
