MercariPro ("the Extension") is a Chrome browser extension that helps Mercari sellers automate listing management tasks. We are committed to protecting your privacy.
Listing data: When you use the Scan Listings feature, the Extension reads your Mercari listing information (titles, prices, images) directly from the Mercari website. This data is stored locally in your browser using Chrome's storage API. It is never sent to our servers or any third party.
Email address: If you choose to purchase a paid subscription, your email address is collected by our payment processor (Stripe, via ExtensionPay) to manage your subscription. We do not have direct access to your payment card details.
Usage statistics: The Extension tracks basic usage counts (number of items relisted, promoted) locally in your browser for display in the analytics dashboard. This data is never transmitted externally.
All Extension data (settings, listing data, activity logs) is stored locally on your device using Chrome's built-in storage API. No data is stored on external servers controlled by us.
ExtensionPay / Stripe: If you purchase a subscription, payment processing is handled by Stripe through ExtensionPay. Their privacy policies apply to payment transactions:
We do not sell, trade, or transfer your data to third parties. We do not use your data for advertising, remarketing, or any purpose unrelated to the Extension's functionality.
You can delete all locally stored data at any time by going to the Extension's Settings page and clicking "Clear All Data", or by uninstalling the Extension.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date.
If you have questions about this Privacy Policy, please contact us through the Chrome Web Store support page for MercariPro.
