# Contributing

Issues and focused pull requests are welcome.

1. Use Node.js 22+ and enable Corepack.
2. Run `pnpm install` and `pnpm run check` before opening a pull request.
3. Keep model calls user-triggered. Do not add background candidate fan-out.
4. Preserve the no-cloud-service privacy boundary and the original Session log.
5. Add tests for cache identity, wire validation, lock behavior, or UI state changed by the patch.
6. Rebuild and commit `lib/` because GitHub installation consumes the bundled files directly.

Please keep changes scoped and explain any DSH Client Slot or Host API compatibility assumptions in the pull request.
