# Voices in View Privacy Policy

Effective August 11, 2026

Voices in View processes microphone audio on your iPhone to display live captions.

- Speech transcription uses Apple's on-device Speech framework.
- Voices in View never stores raw microphone audio.
- In Saved mode, finalized caption text is stored only in the app's local container on your device.
- In Ghost Mode, caption text is not saved.
- Voices in View does not include accounts, advertising, tracking, analytics SDKs, or cloud transcription.
- Voices in View does not transmit transcripts to the developer.

You can review and permanently delete saved transcripts from History in the app. Deleting the app also deletes its local transcripts.
