La Cérémonie

Catherine, a rich woman of Brittany, engage Sophie as maid for her great house. Sophie is illiterate but nobody know it, and she has shame of it. She become friend with Jeanne, the post office employee, a woman not very sane, jealous about Catherine and her husband Georges.
