Batman:The Dark Knight

Bruce Wayne is the son of Martha and Thomas Wayne who lives in Gotham. After witnessing thier murder at the hand of a street thug he became angry and wished to avenge thier deaths.

Before his parents murder Bruce Wayne, as a boy fell into a hole where he was attacked by Bats, who became his fear. So after his parent's murder he left Gotham (as an adult) and under went extensive training by the League of Assassins (most popular version).

After learning how to fight, physically and mentally, he made a 'Batman' hero who fough crime, using the bat to scare the enemies as much as it scared him.

Batman was helped by many diffrent people, most noticeably, his butler Alfred, Police commisoner James Gordon, Batgirl, Robins and Nightwing.

Eventually Batman helped make the Justice league and protected the world as well as Gotham. Bruce Wayne, a playboy, billionaire and philanthropist through day and Batman the world's greatest detective through night.
