As Whonix ™ 16 was released in September 2021 and work is ongoing, a testers release of Whonix ™ 17 is not yet available -- check back here at a later date.
Interested readers can refer to the Whonix ™ 17 roadmap [archive] and Development forum [archive] to see where Whonix ™ is heading. Major items include:
- A Whonix-Host operating system (tickets [archive]); [1]
- CoyIM secure XMPP chat client (ticket [archive]); and
- A policy for inclusion of compiled software [archive].
