News of the Month
On the 11th of November the Modern Academy in Maadi (MAM) celebrated two important events at Neffertiti Hall in Shepherd Helnan Hotel. The first is the Graduation Ceremony of the 1998 & 1999 classes of both Departments: Computer Science and Business Administration.   The Head of Board of Directors of MAM gave a speech to the graduates, encouraging them to go on learning. Then, the real celebration started with the students receiving their certificates from MAM Board of Directors, amid the happiness and pride of the parents. Among the attendants were Prof. Hassan Ghalab, President of Ain Shams University, and Eng. Sameh Fahmy, Minister of Petroleum, who celebrated the graduation of his son.
Besides, the Academy celebrated the Graduation of the first class students of UDC/ MAM program. The certificates were awarded to the graduates by Dr. Sarah Maten the director of International programs at UDC.
The Graduation Ceremony was followed by awarding certificates of appreciation to the top undergraduates of each class from both departments.The second event  was a Welcome Party to the freshman students. The students enjoyed Yasser Shaker's interesting DJ and Hisham Abass's lively songs.
Visit of the month
- On the 9th of November 1999 delegation from the Ministry of Higher Education and the International Monitry fund have visited the Modern Academy Campus. - The Academy had the honor to welcome a delegation from the University of North London in the 10th of November 1999. -The Modern Academy in Maadi is having the honour to receive a senior staff delegation from the University of North London (UNL) during the period 26-29 January 2000.
