Interlibrary Loan
Presently ILL is free to the Texas A&M
University-Corpus Christi students, faculty, and staff.
ILL will not request items that are
available in our non-circulating collections, such as Reference or Reserve, requests may
be made for items that are checked out, lost, or missing.
The most common requests are for copies of
articles and books. Photocopies may be retained. Books must be returned to the ILL
department or placed into the ILL book return box. Renewals must be requested at least two
days prior to the due date and are granted at the discretion of the lending library.
It is the patrons responsibility to pick up
there ILLs in a timely fashion after being notified by ILL of their arrival. Failure to
pick up requested items may lead to charges and/or loss of ILL services.
Borrowers are financially responsible for
books that are lost or damaged while in their possession.
ILL is not responsible for returning non-ILL
materials back to their home libraries.

Infomation Literacy
If you would like to schedule a class for
instruction in the use of Bell Library and its resources, please contact Denise
Landry-Hyde in the Information Literacy Department at (361) 825-2608 or leave a voice
mail message.
If you cannot reach Denise right away, and
you need to speak to someone immediately, call (361) 825-2609, the Reference Desk. Written
verification will be sent to you to confirm the date and time of your class, or you will
be contacted by phone to reschedule. Classroom assignments are made on a first-come,
first-served basis, so it is good to schedule classes as far in advance as possible.
No less than one week's notice,
preferably two, is needed. Classes are usually held in Library
Instruction Center, Room #109. We also anticipate that faculty will be present with
their classes. Thank you for your assistance in this important effort!
