Born July 12, 1939, in Hettinger, ND. BA from Dickinson State University 1962. LLB from University of North Dakota 1965. Practiced in New Town 1965-68 and Minot 1968-79. Elected District Judge in 1978, 1984, 1990, and 1996. Married. Wife, Mary. Four children.
