.MN magazine 4th anniversary celebration, April 8, 2000-CSTI

The first Mongolian computer magazine ".MN" celebrated it's 4 year anniversary in Ulaanbaatar. Mongolian Chess association, Mongolian Free Liberal Journalist's Association, and Infocon Co.Ltd, as an organizer, have attended to the ceremony. Within the bounds of anniversary celebration, there was hold a chat between editorial staff and readers, and online chess competition between Ulaanbaatar and Erdenet. "UnicodeStandard and Mongolian script" Workshop, January 10, 2000-CSTI

Infocon Co.Ltd. assisted organizing a workshop on "Unicode Standarts and Mongolian scripts", conducted on January 10, 2000 in Ulaanbaatar. The workshop was attended by about 40 people, including representives of government and non-government organizations, private companies and individuals. The following reports were presented during the workshop:

• report on the standartization issue and ISO/IEC 1064  standard,
• Unicode Standard and Mongolian scripts,
• Traditional Mongolian script and its integration into Unicode Standard Mongolian font (extended Cyrillic) developed by Orgilteh Co Ltd.
