LumiCam (shown on the App Store as LumiCam: Fresh Photo Editor) is a camera and photo editor: live-filter shooting, plus photo, collage and video editing. If something is not working as expected, the answers below cover the most common questions. If your question is not listed, email us and we will help.

Where are my photos, videos and projects saved?

Everything you create or import is stored in the App's private storage on this device. Finished photos and videos are saved to your photo library only when you tap Export or Save. Nothing is uploaded to a server.

Why does the App ask for camera, microphone or photo access?

Camera: to show the live preview and take photos.
Microphone: only when you record a video with sound.
Photos: to import a photo or video for editing, and to save your finished work.

You can change any of these permissions at any time in iOS Settings → LumiCam.

How do I delete my data?

Delete individual projects, drafts or favourites inside the App. Deleting the App removes all of its local data from the device. The developer has no copy of your photos or projects.

Are my photos uploaded anywhere?

No. The App works fully offline and contains no analytics, advertising or tracking SDKs. See the Privacy Policy for details.

How do beauty effects and stickers work?

Face detection runs entirely on your device, in memory, only while the photo you selected is being processed. Face data is never stored, uploaded or shared. It is discarded as soon as rendering finishes or you leave the editor.

Private projects and Face ID

You can optionally lock private projects with Face ID. Authentication is performed by iOS; the App only receives a success or failure result and never accesses biometric data. If Face ID is unavailable, you can unlock or reset the lock in iOS Settings → LumiCam.

Motion Photo does not play in Photos

Motion Photo turns a short video into a still image with motion, saved as a paired photo and video in your library. Motion playback requires a compatible iPhone or iPad and the system Photos app. If the effect is not visible, make sure both the photo and its paired video were saved to the same album and that Low Power Mode is off.

Video export failed or took a long time

Keep the App open until export finishes.
Check that the device has enough free storage.
Try a shorter trim range or a lower export quality.

照片、视频和作品保存在哪里？

你拍摄或导入的内容都保存在本机 App 的私有存储中。只有在你点击「导出」或「保存」时，成片才会写入系统相册。整个过程不会上传到服务器。

为什么会申请相机、麦克风或相册权限？

相机：用于实时取景和拍照。
麦克风：仅在你录制带声音的视频时使用。
相册：用于导入待编辑的照片或视频，以及保存成片。

你可以随时在 iOS「设置 → LumiCam」中修改这些权限。

如何删除我的数据？

在 App 内删除对应的作品、草稿或收藏即可。卸载 App 会清除设备上的全部本地数据。开发者不保留你的照片或作品副本。

照片会被上传吗？

不会。App 完全离线运行，不包含任何统计、广告或追踪 SDK。详见隐私政策。

美颜和贴纸是怎么工作的？

人脸检测完全在设备本地、内存中完成，且仅在你选中的照片处理期间进行。人脸数据不会被存储、上传或共享，渲染结束或离开编辑页即被丢弃。

私密作品与面容 ID

你可以选择用面容 ID 锁定私密作品。认证由 iOS 完成，App 只会收到成功或失败的结果，不会接触生物识别数据。如果面容 ID 不可用，可在 iOS「设置 → LumiCam」中解锁或重置。

动态照片在相册里不动

动态照片会把一段短视频转换为带动态效果的静态照片，并以「照片 + 配对视频」的形式保存到相册。动态效果需要兼容的 iPhone 或 iPad 以及系统「照片」App 才能播放。如果看不到效果，请确认照片与配对视频都已保存到同一个相册，并关闭低电量模式。

视频导出失败或耗时很久

导出完成前请保持 App 在前台。
确认设备剩余存储空间充足。
可以尝试缩短裁剪区间或降低导出画质。
