Just a question... does anyone but me use Bind wounds?

Mines around 100ish and I do 25ish a Bind Im told. But I almost never hear of anyone, other clerics included, who bother with it. If not, why not?

I think Verant supposedly reduced the taunt for Bard's song, but have
not done anything to the clerics heals. And in a sense, they
shouldn't. When was the last time you were fighting lizards in Cazic
and someone said "Healer!! Get him!" It's only natural that you'd
want to kill the healer first in any group, and as soon as the enemy
figures out who you are, they're gonna want to snuff you out, too.
The trick is this :
- don't heal right away. Give the tanks time to tank for a bit before
you heal (if you can)
- when you do heal, make sure you're not immediately in melee range.
Turn attack off, move away to a safe distance, before you heal.

If you do get attacked, do not run. It makes it hard on the tank to
taunt it off you. Do not attack back (it only makes it angrier) and
if you're about to die, don't be hesitant to throw up Divine Aura.
I lost count of the number of times I died because I didn't want to
"waste" divine aura. Heh. Foolish.

oh, it's true! I believe that the monsters see a 100pt heal as a 100pt hit
on them... so if you do a greater heal or a superior heal, it's like a
really big area effect nuke so far as they are concerned. Heal spells are a
huge huge taunt...
