This was a tough decision for me too, I used the Bloodstained Mantle all the
way to level 38 because I felt the +3STR and +10MR with 6AC was better than
the +6STA 11AC. There has been a lot of debate about stats for melee
classes that has pretty much settled on the fact that STR and AC are the two
most important stats so basically my quandary was do I trade in 10MR points
and 3STR points in favor of 5 extra AC points.
My final decision was based on the fact that I obtained a Skull Shaped
Barbute with +10MR. When I made the switch and lost the 3 STR points I
noticed my ATTACK lowered a bit but the stamina raised my hit points a bit
and my agility allowed me to get more than 11AC points from the spaulders.
Like Sylly says, I guess it depends on the circumstances...Hmmm, I think I
need to get a runed bone fork now, I pretty much ignored that item up to
now.
