Mino Battleaxes were great at that level... or if you can afford it a
Combine Longsword. Some folks might be selling Barbed whips for a price you
MAY be able to afford (doubt it but it's worth a shot to see if you can get
one for around 50-60pp)
Whatever you do, as a bard, do NOT twink your character. Twinking a bard is
a surefire way to ensure they don't learn the class properly. ;)
