cool, i was holding off on upgrading to pro, until i heard someone doing eq
with it :)
well, i'm getting cable modem today, so w2k tomorrow! woohoo!

(incidentally, Computer Gaming World (CGW) reported "The Neptune (win2k
team) team tested compatibility with Windows 2000 using about 800 games from
PC Data's sales charts since the first Windows 95 games began shipping years
ago. What they found wasn't pretty: Only 50-60% of the games will run "out
of the box" under Windows 2000. Some could be made to run with a few tweaks
or hacks, but many simply tanked." - April, 2000 issue, p. 104, Under the
Hood, Loyd Case)
