Sneak allows you to move soundlessly. This greatly reduces your agro radius
in relation to hostile mobs. So much that you can stand directly behind a
KoS mob and not be attacked. Sneak is great for breaking into Hate and
getting to the safe SW corner. Ever time I have used it I have safely made
the corner, even one time having a Cleric of Inny run 30-40 feet in front of
me.
Hide allows you to well, hide. Basicly a manaless invis the is broken when
you move.
There are no success messages for either skill. Sneak is easy as you slow
down to a crawl. Hide you need to target an non-indiffernent mob then con
it after hiding. If it cons indifferent you are hidden.
