It's not cheating. You're just introducing a rather young
mage to something that will become a fact of life in his 30s
and 40s - if he lets his pet get out of command range, it will
bring back a train. :)

I'm fairly certain the root icon stays up, so the moment you
drop Accel, you're rooted.
