Switching is all about hot keys.

target mob to charm

charm

hit assist key to target other mob
tell pet to attack

sing off song (party buff or targeted, doesn't matter since you have the
other mob targeted now.)

sing off song

pause

hit F1 twice to target pet

recharm

as soon as you start singing switch back to primary target with your assist
key.

While you are learning the timing you may want to hold off on switching back
to the primary target. That's because it can be a pain to re target your pet
if charm breaks.

With that technique, you have to keep switching targets rights? That is
the problem I was having, switching targets and weaving the songs...
