Another good tactic (if you have a friendly cleric) is to charm a caster,
they'll blast away, doing good damage, and hopefully depleting their mana.
I've had cleric lizards in cazic run out of mana from charming them and
making them work for me for so long.

However, if you get the timing wrong, you're going to pay a hefty price.
