If you wanna talk dmg per second then just count the dmg per second you'll
be taking after landing it on 4 mobs. Im sure they'll outdamage you and the
SK real quick

um, 433 damage, for 2 targets = 866 damage. which is well short of 1400
damage.

3 targets = 1299 damage
4 targets = 1732 damage

So basically you need to land this on 4 targets with no resists to outdamage
the Shadowknight.

If you're fighting 4 targets, there's no way in hell you're gonna be using
this song. You're gonna be mezzing or let the enchanter mez. And if you
break 3 mezzes, he's gonna be mighty pissed at you.

i don't remember how much damage i do with dirge at lvl 55, but according to
eqsongs,
the number would be 433 per target at lvl 56. If you manage to damage just
2 targets (not very
hard to do), you are doing more damage per second than the sk.
