Subject: RE: [eqbards] Bard Stacking?

It sounds like they have removed the nerf from last week. So we've been
heard!

Now the SS Bracer and Lute should stack again. I'm not sure how they are
going to fix the end game where the stacking is abused with 150+ DSes, but
I'm glad they saw their error for the 90%+ of us who aren't camped in Uber
guilds.

Here's the scoop.  Through the history of EQ - any bard item with a
proc ignored stacking rules and would take effect. This included
(non-Bard) SPELLS from the item that would stack with a higher level spell
from the parent class. For example the AC Buff Guard from the Guardian
Mace would stack with Shield of Words. If a cleric tried to cast both of
those
spells - they wouldn't stack (another example is the Fire Shield from the
SS Bracer).
