Nortlav the Scalekeeper or some such has been rumored to drop green and white scales forever.
General consensus is that this is false. He only drops Red scales from everything I've heard.
Unfortunately, this is the easiest one to get by far. If you help any clerics on their epics
should be able to get a Red scale from Naggy or Rage. The White is the one that is ridiculously
hard.

well, since you liked that one so much, here's another topic. Someone on <BR>
the "other" EQ-Bards list mentioned that you could circumvent <BR>
dragon-slaying by hunting a specific mob in The Hole, which apparently <BR>
drops dragon scales randomly. Is this true? Anyone have any more details?<BR>
