Unless you get your Str over 100 and get the mythical str bonus I disagree.
I put all my stats and buffs into Dex and Agil, my feeling is if they cat
hit ya they cant hurt ya. I almost always hit for near max dmg and any blue
mob will miss me 9 out of 10 tries either from Dodge or straight misses. My
high Dex makes my PGT fire off its spell several times per battle so that
makes me invulnerable the few times I am hit. My Shaman partner buffs me as
well when we are together bringing Str to 121 Dex and Agil to 151, casts
quickness and I am a whirlin twirlin Ginsu choppin machine. But just my base
stats are weighed toward other things than Str. The only time I miss having
high Str is when I am loot heavy. Its terrible when you have to leave Fine
Steel lying on the dungeon floor.

I remember the day that I decided to restart my level 10 Bard Ardon. When I
had made him I had put 5 pts into STR and put the rest into dex I think. I
restarted as Arden the Bard but this time I put all my points into STR. I
truly think it was worth it. The STR stat is so much more helpful than any
other stats for the classes that plan on wearing armor. Banded will weigh
you down but if you end up with Bronze then that will take most of the wgt
you are allowed.
