I dunno about range, but if you Chords something and *stop*
the song, the mobs will still continue to take damage for two
more "pulses." However, if you Chords something and Pixie
Strike/mesmerize it, it will wake up when it takes damage from
subsequent "pulses." I don't think normal DoTs work like
that, though I'll have to test it with my enchanter.
