I have run into cases where I have chained something then a SK in the group
will attempt to cast a Darkness line spell and get the "this spell can not
take hold" message. This may have been fixed in a recent patch though. As
far as the Snare/Root/Chain interaction goes if a mob is Snared/Rooted then
you chain it they mob will be free of Snare/Root after your chain wears off.
