OMA is an alliance of mobile operators, device and network suppliers, information technology companies and content and service providers. It focuses on the development of mobile service enabler specifications, which support the creation of interoperable end-to-end mobile services. OMA has over twenty working groups and committees, including working groups on architecture, data synchronization, device management, interoperability, and so on. They provide specifications for public comments and technical document files of developing programs to be downloaded.
The Open Handset Alliance is a consortium organized with the goal to develop open standards for mobile devices. As of December 2008, its member include all of Google, HTC, Intel, Motorola, Qualcomm, T-mobel, Sony Ericsson, and so on. This link leads you to the home of the alliance.
