Change the theme of gt tables with gtExtras


This post use the gtExtras package to change the theme from your gt tables. We’ll go through several examples of which theme can be used with gtExtras.

For this post, we need to load the following library:

Default theme

For this post, we’ll use the simple mtcars dataset that can be easily load using the code below.

The gtExtras package relies on the gt package for the basic functions. Here’s what the default theme looks like:
