Chase graduated from LSU with a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering in the Spring of 2021. He is currently enrolled in the Mechanical Engineering Accelerated M.S. program. Chase’s research is focused on tunable passive shock and vibration isolators for rotational isolation. He is working with a team of LSU faculty who are competing in the NFL Helmet Challenge to design a new football helmet that outperforms all existing models.
