# Acceptable Use Policy > This is the second half of [DISCLAIMER.md](../DISCLAIMER.md), and an extension of the > "additional conditions" in [LICENSE](../LICENSE). > **Violating this policy takes you outside the licence.** Your right to use the software > terminates automatically, and no disclaimer applies. > > Last updated: 2026-09-29 --- ## 1. General Use this software only for **lawful** purposes, and only on devices and accounts **you are entitled to operate**. "You are entitled to operate" means the device is your own, or you have the device owner's explicit, informed permission. **"I was helping him" is not permission.** ## 2. Prohibited uses The following are **prohibited without exception**. They are listed because they genuinely happen, not to paper over them: **(a) Crime, and providing help to crime** - Any criminal or unlawful activity. - Telecom and network fraud, or **any form of assistance** to it — including transferring funds for others, laundering money by moving it through payment accounts, faking transaction flows, receiving and passing on proceeds, promotional referral, bulk account registration or unblocking, and creating or distributing fraud tooling. This **may constitute "the crime of aiding information network criminal activities" under Article 287-2 of the Criminal Law of the People's Republic of China** — up to three years' imprisonment or detention, plus a fine. Note that in practice, **even without direct profit and even while claiming not to have known, a court may infer knowledge from objective conduct.** - Operating another person's payment account, bank card, or settlement instrument on their behalf. **(b) False information and reputational harm** - Generating, publishing or spreading false information or rumours. - Defaming, insulting or disparaging any person or organisation. - Impersonating any person, institution or official identity. **(c) Privacy** - Recording, listening to, or reading another person's conversations, messages, contacts, call log, location or screen without their consent. - Installing or running this software on a device that is not yours. **(d) Circumventing security** - Cracking, bypassing or evading any platform's risk controls, verification, limits or security measures. - Bypassing payment verification, identity verification, or content moderation. - Attacking, scanning or accessing any system, network or service without authorisation. **(e) Other** - Gambling, pornography, contraband, and any other prohibited transaction. - Spam, harassment, or unsolicited bulk messaging and calling. - Anything that would associate others with this project such that they could be mistaken for a party to the above. ## 3. On money — read this one separately - **A human must be present for any financial action.** Do not let it complete a payment, transfer or order unattended. - **Do not store a payment password in the vault and let it pay automatically.** - It is **capable** of completing a transfer on its own — it taps by coordinates rather than going through a restricted payment API. **This project has no technical guardrail on that path.** - **If money goes to the wrong place, or is lost to fraud, "the AI did it" is not a defence.** The legal consequence falls on the operator. (Chinese legal commentary makes the same point: an agent's autonomous "acting and deciding" may take the act outside the user's intent, but the consequence still lands on the user.) ## 4. On content published as you - What it sends **counts as yours**. It carries your name, and your liability. - In mainland China, spreading rumours may violate the Public Security Administration Punishments Law; in serious cases it may be a criminal offence. - **Review before it publishes.** Do not let it speak to the outside world unattended. - It can be steered by text on the screen (prompt injection) into saying things you did not ask for — see [SECURITY.md](../SECURITY.md). ## 5. On other people's devices and accounts - This policy permits **your own devices** and **your own accounts** only. - LICENSE Part A.1(b) prohibits operating this software as a multi-tenant service that drives third parties' devices without written authorisation. - If you need to manage other people's devices (an internal fleet deployment, for example), obtain written authorisation first. ## 6. Consequences - **Licence termination**: violating this policy exceeds the scope granted by [LICENSE](../LICENSE), and your licence to use this software **terminates automatically**, with no notice from us. - **Your liability**: all legal consequences are yours, not the authors' or contributors'. - **What we reserve**: refusing support, closing the relevant issues, restricting or ending distribution, and reporting to the competent authorities where required. ## 7. Reporting misuse If you find this software being used for any of the above, tell us through the channel in [SECURITY.md](../SECURITY.md). **Do not** post details in a public issue. ## 8. Notice This document **is not legal advice.** It is a condition of use, not a legal opinion. Requirements differ between jurisdictions, and **satisfying yourself that your use is lawful is yours to do.** --- **Other languages:** [Chinese](acceptable-use.zh-CN.md)
