The Filter Toolbox includes over 40 filters grouped according to their function, and user-defined filter templates grouped according to filter type:

          

The View filter toolbox icon  on the standard toolbar is used to show or hide the Filter Toolbox. Click the  icon to close the Filter Toolbox and increase the space available to the Route Editor.

Filters

Filters are listed under in the Filters tab.

Commonly used filters are grouped together under the label Common in the Filters tab. Click the arrow to the left of a filter group name to expand the group to display the list of its associated filters. All filters are available for use, but you may not need to use all of them. For example, the HIPAA filters relate to the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996 and are unlikely to be needed outside the United States.

Filter Templates

Available filter templates are listed in the Templates tab and categorized according to filter type.

You can also set a template as a default by selecting the template and selecting Set as Default from the right-click menu. To remove the default setting for a template by selecting the template and selecting Remove as Default from the right-click menu. Refer to Templates for details.
