A cloud-based software company based in California, Salesforce provides customer relationship management (CRM) services and offers marketing automation and customer service applications.
In other words, salespeople all over the world use salesforce as a CRM tool to organize or manage our customer relationships in a cloud based “hive mind” so that all company personnel are aware of any changes to key customer accounts. As you can see, Salesforce is very important to the way we function as modern salespeople.
Most modern sales reps are familiar with CRM tools like Salesforce, but if you’ve never used Salesforce, don’t be afraid. It sounds complicated, but once you get the hang of it, you will be able to use Salesforce in your sleep.
