Here at Excitement Island we have many surf breaks for surfers of any ability. Our local surf school offers full day lessons for beginners on 1-3ft beach break waves. Whilst our intermediate surfers have breaks ranging from 3-8ft beach breaks and barrels. Finally for our expert surfers there are numerous spots with 4-16ft barrels, open faces and heavy beach breaks. Don't have your board? No worries, our local surfboard rental service offers boards for rental including fishes, high performance short boards, long boards and mals at very affordable prices.
Fishing is part of the way of life and living on the nature here at Excitement Island. Our fishing spots inlcude our local pier for beginners with instructors on hand to help you learn. For our expereinced guests we have rivers around the island with bass and barramundi the main catch. Whilst our rock ledges play home to large bream and jew fish. For our more risky anglers head out on charter boats to catch some prized fish. Inlcuding blue marlines, mackrill, salmon, blue and yellow fin tuna as well as red snapper. Booking package includes all equipment and bait.
