More about the Club
The Astronomy and Physics Club at Pasadena City College is dedicated to promoting interests in Physics, Astronomy, Planetary Science, Space Exploration and all related STEM fields. We strive to create an environment that is open to anyone who has an interest in science, regardless of major. Our goal is to have fun and enjoy learning while working together as a team. There are many opportunities to gain through volunteering experiences, attending exciting events, and working on projects that allow individuals to experience what it is like to be a scientist or engineer. Our mission is to enrich the lives of PCC students, members of the local community and our selves by providing these resources and experiences.

A glimpse of what we do and who we are.
Noche de Ciencias
Noche de Ciencias is a great way to get students and parents involved with STEM. Undergraduate and Professional SHPE chapters have the opportunity to invite K-12 students to participate in hands-on STEM activities while interacting with STEM undergraduate students and professionals. Parents are provided with college resources that help encourage their child(ren) to pursue higher education and STEM careers. we have been holding this event for a couple of years now and it a great way for the kids to experiment with different field of stem. What we ask from clubs is to make a little workshop for these kids.
