      Your privacy matters. PingMeet is designed with privacy-first principles. All your data stays in your browser - we don't operate any servers that collect or store your information.
    

Data We Access

Data Storage

All data is stored locally in your browser using Chrome's Storage API. This includes:

Your calendar connection settings
OAuth tokens for calendar access
Reminder preferences
Meeting duration statistics
AI provider configuration (if enabled)

We do not have servers that store your data. When you uninstall the extension, all data is automatically deleted.

Third-Party Services

PingMeet connects to the following services only when you explicitly connect your calendars:

Google Calendar API - To fetch your Google Calendar events
Microsoft Graph API - To fetch your Outlook Calendar events
AI Providers (Optional) - OpenAI, Anthropic, or Google AI for meeting insights. Only used if you configure an API key.

What We DON'T Do

We don't sell your data
We don't share your data with third parties (except AI providers if you opt-in)
We don't track your browsing activity
We don't show advertisements
We don't collect analytics or telemetry

AI Insights (Optional Feature)

If you choose to enable AI-powered meeting insights:

Your meeting titles and times may be sent to your chosen AI provider
You provide your own API key - we don't have access to it
This feature is completely optional and disabled by default
You can remove your API key at any time to disable this feature

Your Rights

You have full control over your data:

Access: All your data is visible in the extension
Delete: Disconnect calendars or uninstall to remove all data
Portability: Export your meeting reports anytime

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected in the "Last updated" date above.
