Federal/Provincial LMI Committee Initiatives ...

Now Available...

New Occupational Profiles for Newfoundland and Labrador ... There are now more than 150 new Occupational Profiles for Newfoundland and Labrador on this site. These profiles provide provincial information on wage rates, training availability, employment potential and other information specific to an occupation.

The development of these profiles was a joint initiative under the direction of the Federal/Provincial Labour Market Information Committee and funded by the Canada-Newfoundland and Labrador Agreement on Labour Market Development. [1999-10-27]

Sector Studies Inventory ... An inventory of more than 400 Sector Studies for Newfoundland and Labrador is now available.

This is an inventory of Sector Studies done since 1990 and is intended to provide clients with a resource to identify potential economic, entrepreneurial, or career development opportunities.

The Sector Studies Inventory website was developed as a joint initiative under the direction of the Federal/Provincial Labour Market Information Committee in partnership with the provincial Department of Development and Rural Renewal. The Canada-Newfoundland and Labrador Agreement on Labour Market Development funded this initiative.[1999-10-27]
