Incline Walking

Incline walking is a great way to burn calories and tone your leg muscles. I like to do this after my weight training sessions. Be sure to keep a slight bend in your knees and lean forward a bit to align your body with the incline. Hold onto the machine if necessary, but it is most effective to not hold on.

Runs fitness ring of run

Occasionally, I like to go on a long run so that I can clear my head and listen to all my throwback songs. I prefer to run on a treadmill because it is easier on my knees than running on a sidewalk.

Outdoor Walks clouds

There is nothing that I enjoy more than going on walks around campus, at home, or anywhere really. I usually invite someone to come along with me, so we can catch up and get our steps in for the day. Above is a photo I took of a beautiful cloud I saw while on a walk. Remember that you don't have to go to the gym to stay active!
