Yeah, I thought about that, it is a sticky situation with dirks - not that
I really WANT to have 2 on at the same time, rogues might.

I wish they had given us a seperate slot for our instrument - one we can
just keep loaded, and switch to like ranged weapons instead of having to
constantly arm and disarm.

Mages don't have to disarm before they cast.
