Why do they nerf in the first place?

Ok, at first it has to do with 'balancing the classes' - ok so by now it's
pretty damn close as to what it's ever gonna be. But anti-kite changes are
something different.

Do you suppose they see a few (ok 30% or so) druids using a technique that
their class allows to make some good progress - and they decide that they
have to nerf because "druids are not _supposed_ to be that powerful."

I think it all boils down to they are scared that players will level too
fast and thus blow through the game too soon and thus the $10/mo too
quickly. But making the game even MORE boring is not the way to keep
players. What I can't understand is why they purposely make the really
boring stuff - the way to progress.

Sorry, was commenting to the most recent post in the thread.
I don't have a
problem with it either, just wondered why anyone was
questioning Fear/Chains
valididty or calling it cheesy when its no different from
Fear/Root which
Enchanters can do at much lower level. I agree with you it
seems perfectly
valid to me.

Its not, but what is your point? I am just expressing my
personal opinion,
not saying that anyone agrees or disagrees. I don't have a
problem with
Fear/Root either. Maybe I am missing something...
