CAN & CANopen
CAN (Controller Area Network) is a serial bus network medium-access layer protocol. It became an international standard (ISO 11898–1) in 1993 and is commonly used for embedded control, in particular, in automatic control systems. CiA (CAN in Automation) is a nonprofit international group that develops CAN-based higher-layer protocols, including several dedicated device profiles for medical devices and healthcare equipment such as X-ray collimator (CiA 412-2) and measurement systems (CiA 412-6).

Health Level Seven，「健康資訊交換第七層協定」是醫療資訊系統上的世界標準，其並非傳統定義裡的軟體程式碼，但若醫療照護軟體程式在資訊分類上能符合HL7的標準格式，透過HL7標準化的實現，醫療資訊將可以更有效的被傳遞，不論是世界醫療資訊的分享、或地區性疾病的訊息發佈，都可更快速正確到達醫護人員手中，最後達到加速與落實醫療資訊的正確性的目標。目前HL7已有36個會員國，世界各地包括國內都有其推動組織，右列為其標準定義格式彙整網頁，此一平台雖非直接與軟體開發框架相關，但於醫療照顧資訊領域具有重要影響，故評估為重要標準並建議持續關注，以期讓國內的醫療資訊系統的研發與建置，能更快更正確地與國際接軌。

OpenECG
