We have received a notice from New Zealand Customs Release Issue 461.

For our clients who operate on a Customs Deferred payment account direct with NZ Customs please take note of the below increases effective on the 1st of July 2018.

Bio-Security levy will increase from $17.37 to     $ 20.36 +GST

Customs Import Transaction Fee remains at      $ 25.44 +GST
Total levy will be                                                       $ 45.80 +GST
This levy is paid to MPI and funds higher levels of border bio-security.

Dear Customers,

To ensure the sustainability of service and products, please be advised that all shipping lines will be implementing a Southbound Rate Restoration effective for cargoes Shipped On Board week effective 1st July 2018 into New Zealand at a quantum of US$100 per TEU and US$200 per FEU.

This increase will apply in full on top of existing market rates and will be subject to the usual ancillary surcharges applicable at the time of shipment.
