This is a variegated baby rubber plant (Peperomia obustifolia 'Variegata'). This is a very good plant because:

• It is beautiful

• This is my favourite variegated plant

• Fleshy leaves

• The flowers are weird stalks (seriously, check them out!

This plant is relatively easy to find for sale. The fleshy, waxy leaves make the plant look almost like plastic. Succulents are generally easy to keep and propagate.

This is a satin pothos (Scindapsus pictus). This is a very good plant because:

• It is super easy to propagate

• The leaves feel soft and silky to the touch

• You can but it in a ahnging basket

• It is cute and pretty

Pothoses are popular houseplants. Most people have Epipremnums but c'mon anyone can have those. Scindapsus is waaaay cooler.
