SimplyE iOS
You can use the SimplyE app to borrow e-books from your iPhone, iPad, or iPod Touch. You will need a valid library card and PIN, and iOS 8.0 or later on your device.

- From the Apple App Store app, install the SimplyE app.
- Once installed, open the SimplyE app.
- Tap

to agreee to the terms of Service - To register you Library Card

- Browsing the popular and avialable titles
Tap the
Catalog tab
at the bottom. At any time you can tap the cover of the book to read a description about the book, download, checkout or place a hold on the book. - Browse Category List: Scroll up and down to browse the list of books
- At the list level, Tap on
Author
to change the sort order.
- At the list level you can also filter the list by
- To search for a particular title
You can borrow up to 24 ebooks. You have 14 days to read them. If you place a hold on the ebook, you have 3 days to Check out the book or Cancel the hold. The book will disappear after 3 days from your hold list.
- Find a book you would like to read.
- Books you can keep
(Public Domain or Creative Commons Licenses books) will display only a
Download
button. Simply tap theDownload
button to download the book. The button will change to Delete or Read once downloaded. The Book will also show up in the list under the tabMy Books
with aRead
and aDelete
button. - Books you can borrow
These books display a
Get
orReserve
button. Simply tapCheckout
to borrow the book if it is available. The book will download to your device. The button will change to Read once downloaded. The Book will also show up in the list under the tabMy Books
if you checked out the book. You have 14 days to read the book. If you placed a Hold on the book it will show up on under theReservations
tabs. - Books you have reserved (Placed a Hold)
You have 14 Days to read a book borrowed from the library unless it is Public Domain or Creative Commons Licensing. Then you can hold on to the book as long as you like.
- Find a book you would like to read.

to open and read the book. - To turn the page, tap on the edges of the screen.
- To exit or navigate to a particular section
- To change font type, size, constrast or brightness
