Website of Anthony Mattox version 10

Oh wow. Look at this cool new website. Yes, for sure, it is both of those things.

I’ve been working on this new website for quite a while. It’s still, of course, a bit of a work in progress, but with a little luck everything is working. I’m still building my portfolio here. The system I have set up, again using WordPress, is fairly flexible so I can do some nice things in the future. You’ll also find a much better homepage which does a better job, I think, of showing off my work. You’ll also find some nice little changes such as a fancy new favicon, which now makes some sense, and keyboard navigation in the portfolio.

If you catch any bugs or if you have any suggestions let me know.

Very nice new website. Well done! There were some broken image links in the later pages of the blog you might want to check.

Thanks so much. That’s a little embarrassing. Looks like most of my images never made it over to the new server space.

Congratulations for your site! Great job !
I love your post title, which remains under the logo when you scroll the page. But it seems that this only works in safari and not in Explorer or Firefox. Is this normal?
Another question, your site appears under a CC license, does your wordpress template as it is under this license?

    Thanks.
Unfortunately the effect was really choppy on some browsers and was a bit distracting. I limited wich browsers it would run on since it isn’t an essential feature.
I hadn’t thought about about releasing my WordPress theme. It’s built fairly specifically to handle the content, so I’m not sure how useful it would be. I there something in particular your trying to do?

ok … I understand, really unfortunate because the effect is interesting … why not all browsers are they not built with “webkit”! Your wordpress theme is very simple, it’s what’s interesting. I would have been interested in adapting this template for my blog. :-)

Dealing with different platforms is always going to be one development hurdle.

    indeed!
If ever a day you think your template to spread … think of me. This is not necessarily to do exactly the same, just keep the general principle …

    Incredible WordPress theme.
I also would be interested in seeing the theme. It’s true that it seems to be specifically geared toward your work, but it’s chock-full of tricks that would be great to learn from, if not used in its entirety.

Thanks! I don’t have any plans to release my wordpress theme. At least as it is on my site it would be a bit cumbersome for most sites with a lot of additional post types and added fields. I do hope to be creating a few free themes in the future when I have a bit of time though. I may do something a little more pared down and polished in the same style.
