SEIR*TEC at AEL

AEL is a partner in the Southeast and Islands Regional Technology in Education Consortium, a partnership of national, regional, and university-based organizations that work collaboratively to help communities of learners use technology effectively. Under this contract, SEIR*TEC at AEL serves Kentucky, Tennessee, Virginia, and West Virginia.

The consortium is one of six funded regional technology in education consortia. Funding for SEIR*TEC and the five other R*TECs is provided by the Office of Educational Research and Improvement (OERI).

Like its partners, AEL works to help states, local education agencies, teachers, school library and other media personnel, administrators, and other entities successfully integrate advanced technologies into K-12 classrooms, library media centers, and other educational settings.
