A litle attempt to a litteral translation of the plug-in description. I apologise for my bad english in advance: "This script in python is no more than my personalization and associated italian translation based on code (sic) "Batch resize" from Carol Spears. intentionally i've left margins to zero so ordered miniatures impaginate could be easily cut off and (sic) obtaining little photos from a big pagination. I use it to create mini album totally batch from the big pagination, ideed ther's also the format that i use with my lab who prints in 406mm band. it can be used also to create thumbs in various formats. You have to know that put on margins is really easy, you'll find in the script code my comments so you could personalize it by yourself (go to line 27). This is first version, i know a little php but no python at all, luckily ther's some likeness. if i have time and wish i want to improve it, maybe exchangind radio button with top-down menu, to compact UI and add other formats, like photoID and so on... let's see... Installing procedure is the usual, download the file and put it in "/home/user_name/.gimp-2.6/plug-ins", then start Gimp and you can find it in "Filters > Batch". have Fun" i'm sorry, i'm not into lab printing, so i do not know the exact tecnical translation of "impaginato grande" (tanslated here as "big pagination", a sort of contact sheet) and "provinatura" (tanslated here as "thumbs", is a serie of miniature used to test final printing result).
