This script reduces chroma noise in picture by selective blurring in color channels of "LAB" or "YCbCr" color models and masking dark areas of the result.

Looks like interesting plugin, but I can not see its effect. Maybe because I dont understand completely how it works.
Also some examples before vs. after would be welcomed
