Plug in- Can't install to GIMP

I downloaded the normalmap plug-in from the repository and it gave me a folder. I go to the following location. GIMP/Contents/Recourses/lib/gimp/2.0/plug-ins . When I try to drag the folder from the normal map download (I have a folder, not unix executive file like the rest shown in /plug-ins) it won't let me. How can I install it or am i doing it wrong? Is there another way to do it? Using Mac OS X.
