how to open RAW files

I hope you can help me. I have Windows 7, installed GIMP 2.8.2 and UFRaw -0,18. The UFraw- download error libgdk-win32-2,0-0dll Appears. Then I read in FAQ to send the UFRaw file to the Gimp file. Then I have restarted but nothing happend. Gimp can find my JPEG picures, but still not the RAW files
